Eduardo Sirotsky Melter, also known as Duda Melzer, is a businessman from the South American country of Brazil. He was born on May 13, 972 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Duda is currently the Chairman and President of Grupo RBS. He attended the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, one of the largest private universities in Rio Grande do Sul. Melzer earned a degree in Business Administration from the private university in 1998. After graduating from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Duda attended Harvard University in Massachusetts. He earned an MBA from Harvard in 2002.
After graduating from Harvard University, Duda began his career as a business in his home country of Brazil. He worked in franchising and the financial market. During this time, Duda worked for Sweet Sweet Way and Booz Allen & Hamilton. He eventually became a senior analyst for Delphi Corporation, an automotive manufacturing company. In 2004, Melzer became the domestic market CEO of Groupo RBS. By 2010, he had reached the status of executive vice president. Today, Duda serves as the Chairman and President of the well known company.
Groupo RBS is a media group that was founded in 1957 in Porto Alegre, in Rio Grande do Sul. The company employees over 6,000 people and is one of the biggest companies in Brazil. The company provides support with broadcasting, digital technology, digital media, mobile networking, and e-commerce.
